This superb footage by Alexander Benedik was filmed in February 2011 off Cancun in Mexico. The sailfish is usually a solitary animal but there are seasonal aggregations of individuals.

Together with dolphins and birds, they gather to feed upon sardines, that form massive baitballs. This is a unique opportunity to watch this super fast fish in action - it can swim up to 110km/h!
