The waters of the Canary Islands host 29 species of cetaceans. Located southwest of the Moroccan coastline, this archipelago consists of 15 islands and islets, including Tenerife, Grand Canaria, Lanzarot, La Palma, El Hierro, La Gomera and Fuerteventura.
Diving is possible all year round in gin-clear waters. On top of dolphins and whales, rays (especially eagle rays, stingrays and mobula rays) and turtles can also easily be spotted.
